Building site next door...

Another day, another damn noise all day from the building site behind our house.  I just thought I'd share what we listen to all day. Yes, it would have been fantastic to be away in the motorhome while this was going on but you know, torn AC joint in shoulder tends to curtail plans :)

Turn the sound up... it really is loud and vibrates through the ground.

The fence you can see will be removed and a new fence installed at the cost of the developer.  It will be the same height so we'll still have privacy from the new homes being built.  Thankfully this side of our house is the back so we won't lose any sun or much privacy. Fingers crossed we get good neighbours because there are six two story units being built!

Stu is still waiting to hear back.  He has phoned up the hospital and was told his case is being discussed and they will get back to him.  Not much more we can do at this point.

My daughter and the two younger boys have left this morning for an overnight at Taupo before heading to Wellington to stay with my son.  Their Dad seems to be doing a little better and is now up a little and dressed.  He is saying more so hopefully she will see an improvement from when she saw him last week.
